About My Clients
I received my Master’s in Social Work at the University of Southern California. I have provided services in the mental health field for eight years, serving children, adults, and families through individual, family, and group counseling settings. I am dedicated to helping identify the strengths and unique gifts of every individual, to help you reach your personal goals in therapy and beyond.
My Background and Approach
The orientation to my practice is a strength-based person-centered approach. The interventions that I use include but are not limited to the following: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Problem Solving Therapy, Restorative Practices, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Art Therapy, and Play Therapy. I provide strategies for the following presentations: Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Suicidality, Independent Living Sills, Parenting Skills, Coping Skills, Emotional Regulation.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My professional experience began during my Master of Social Work program at the University of Southern California. I began as a Medical Social Work intern at a hospital, conducting intakes and providing discharge planning. I also interned as a School-based Therapist at an elementary school, middle school, and high school, serving children, youth, and their families.
