About My Clients
I work with teens, young adults, and adults who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unseen. My clients often struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, or self-esteem. Some are balancing school, friendships, or careers, while others are navigating parenthood, loss, or big changes. In therapy, we create a safe space to be heard, build coping skills, and rediscover confidence, resilience, and hope.
My Background and Approach
My approach is supportive, practical, and collaborative. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify unhelpful thoughts and build healthier coping strategies. Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) adds skills for mindfulness, distress tolerance, and managing emotions. I also use Motivational Interviewing to strengthen motivation for change in a nonjudgmental way. For couples, I draw on the Gottman Method, focusing on communication, trust, and connection. My goal is to create a safe space where you feel heard and equipped with tools to grow, heal, and move forward with confidence.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should feel like a safe, supportive space where people can be authentic and explore both struggles and strengths. I value honesty, kindness, and resilience, and I believe growth happens when we balance self-compassion with courage to make change. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and being outdoors. I love exploring new places, trying new recipes, and finding small moments of joy in everyday life.
