About My Clients
I especially enjoy helping clients who feel stuck, whether because of anxiety, OCD, trauma, ADHD, perfectionism, or major life transitions. My practice is especially welcoming to LGBTQ+ individuals, creatives, writers, artists, and professionals navigating anxiety, OCD, ADHD, trauma, relationship concerns, life transitions, or creative blocks. Many of the people I work with are high-functioning on the outside but internally feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or uncertain about how to move forward.
My Background and Approach
I interned and worked as an associate at the Los Angeles LGBT Center for three years, providing trauma treatment to current and former unhoused foster youth using TF-CBT and EMDR. That work shaped how I think about resilience and what it takes to actually feel safe enough to heal. Alongside my clinical practice, I’m also a bestselling novelist — a background that gives me a particular appreciation for the stories we tell about ourselves, and how those stories can keep us stuck or set us free. Today, I specialize in treating OCD, creative blocks, mood disorders, and trauma, using polyvagal-informed EMDR, IFS, CBT, and DBT. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your needs — I integrate evidence-based methods to help you understand yourself, heal from past experiences, and build practical tools for lasting change. My goal isn’t just symptom relief. I want you to leave therapy with a deeper understanding of yourself and more confidence navigating life’s challenges.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy works best when it’s collaborative, genuine, and grounded in real connection. Outside of the therapy room, I love spending time writing, getting lost in a good book, hiking, and dancing. These activities keep me grounded, curious, and connected to the things that bring me joy, and they inform how I show up with clients: present, curious, and human.
