Solution-Focused Therapy is an approach that I use to help empower clients to utilize their strengths to help solve life's problems. Rather than traditional psychotherapy that focuses on how a problem was derived, SFT allows for a specific goal-oriented focus to problem-solving.
Eclectic therapy is an integrative, multiple theoretical form, of psychotherapy that adjusts to each clients specific needs. Which are be based upon a clients issues, treatment goals, expectations and motivation.
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is typically a short-term, goal-oriented treatment that takes a practical, hands on approach to solving problems. The goal here is to change our patterns of thinking or behavior that are behind what causes us difficulty and change the way we feel.
