About My Clients
Are you struggling with day-to-day functioning in life? Have you had a recent difficult transition in life? Do you find it hard to speak up and do what is best for yourself? If you are struggling with any of these concerns or experiencing symptoms of ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, have difficulty coping with Chronic Pain, or have concerns about your relationships with others, I can assist you with processing these concerns and implementing the coping tools that work best for you.
My Background and Approach
The process I utilize to help you better understand your concerns and how they are affecting your life, is a process that I have improved upon throughout my career helping others with similar concerns to yours. My goal is to help you do better today than you did yesterday, and better tomorrow than you are doing today. We'll work together to help you improve upon yourself, whatever that entails. Over the past 12 years, my practice has been focused on helping people gain control of their life, improve their coping skills, and process their concerns about life. We work on understanding your thought patterns, how you mental health concerns affect your body and your daily functioning, and what you can do to take control and make changes, so you can be your best self. I attend ongoing trainings to continually improve my practice and help my clients and look forward to sharing any new coping techniques and skills with you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that we all have the power to make changes within ourselves in order to take control of our life. We all have times of difficulty throughout life, and it is important to seek assistance when struggling to cope with difficult situations. Whether our mental health is impacted by maladaptive behaviors we have learned, or we are struggling with coping with a new experience, such as a major loss or other transition in life, finding ways to cope with life's difficulties is key to our success and happiness in life. I too have sought therapy when I have struggled with certain life events and benefited from those experiences, both personally and professionally. I respect my clients and avoid judgement or discrimination. I believe that no mental health concern is better or worse than another, and that our difficulty in coping with different situations is based on our individual life experiences and perception. Please message me if you want to learn more about how I can help.
