About My Clients
Did you grow up with dismissive or controlling caregivers? Do you want to thrive as who you truly are? I am passionate about supporting adult children of emotionally immature caregivers on their healing journey to find their authentic, beautiful voice. I also love working with couples who want to enrich their relationship, connect with their partner in a deeper level, or heal from the past wounds.
My Background and Approach
I received my master degree in Drama Therapy program at California Institute of Integral Studies and I was also trained in Strategic Family therapy, Gottman couple therapy, Expressive art therapy. As an immigrant, I also enjoy supporting people on their journey of navigating between cultural conflicts, life transitions, and different identities. I have been providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families from diverse cultural and backgrounds since 2012 in SF Bay area.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone should be loved as who they are. I am practicing feminism and doing gender creative parenting with my children. I’m also consistently learning about social justice related topics so that I’m aware of how my behavior, privileges, and perspective are affecting the world and how I can make the world safer for everyone. I have 2 dogs traveled from Taiwan with me years ago and countless of plants. I also find oil paining, photography, gardening, and traveling very therapeutic.
