About My Clients
i help adolescents and young adults helping them build relationships, move through what's keeping them stuck, and start enjoying life again. I also support the parents, siblings, and partners who love them, because when a young person struggles, the whole family feels it too. My approach draws from Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), and the Gottman Method, with specialized training in APSAT for partners navigating betrayal trauma.
My Background and Approach
Early experiences with children who experienced trauma, drove me to study human development and family studies at the master's level. It drove me to pursue a second degree in clinical mental health counseling. It drove me into training rooms learning Accelerated Resolution Therapy, TBRI, Gottman, and betrayal trauma work. Not because I needed more credentials — but because I needed better answers. t happens during all the moments in between. At the dinner table when a parent finally understands what's driving their child's behavior. In the car when a sibling feels safe enough to say what they've been holding. At bedtime when a couple finds their way back to each other after a hard day. Trauma doesn't only affect the person who experienced it. It can impact siblings, parents, partners, and the relationships that hold a family together. That's why I don't just work with the person sitting across from me. I keep the people they go home to in mind.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I work with the whole family system — not just the identified client. Using ART, TBRI, and Gottman Method, and APSAT I help understand the needs behind behaviors, process trauma, and reconnect. My approach is warm, playful, and collaborative. Every person who walks through my door carries inherent worth and deserves to be seen.
