About My Clients
My clients often struggle with challenges in their relationship’s whether they be romantic, friendly, or family relationships. My clients worry about abandonment, often finding issues from their past show up and negatively affect their relationships. Some feel they may be in a codependent relationship but not sure.
My Background and Approach
My goal is to get to know you and the issues that bring you to counseling. We will work together to help you establish a baseline of calm, good self-care, and coping skills. This will help you feel safe and secure before we dive into unpacking the things that are causing you pain. Our work together will help you understand how past pain affects present relationships. Then we will work at unpacking that baggage, organize it, and put it away in a safe place. Although it may never truly go away, you can confront it in a way that allows you to move forward and find happiness.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
A little bit about me, I have 4 cats and a dog named Fifi. She is our special needs dog as she is blind but has a ton of fun in our home (as long as we don't move the furniture). My family has been fostering animals, for over 15 years. We just love it. The "Me Too" movement is so important to me not only as a woman but as a mother of a 22 year old daughter. I want her to have control over her body as every other women on this globe.
