About My Clients
I work with adults and couples who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or responsible for holding everything together. My clients often struggle with anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, life transitions, guilt, stress, or difficulty setting boundaries. I especially enjoy helping couples strengthen communication and rebuild connection. I offer virtual appointments throughout Texas, including late-night hours for clients whose schedules make traditional therapy difficult.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas and provide individual and couples therapy through Night Haven Counseling. My approach is supportive, practical, and collaborative. I want therapy to feel like a place where you can be honest without feeling judged while also gaining tools you can use outside of session. With individuals, I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients recognize unhelpful thought patterns, challenge beliefs that may be keeping them stuck, and develop healthier ways of responding to stress, anxiety, guilt, and difficult life circumstances. I also enjoy working with couples and have completed Level 2 training in the Gottman Method. Couples work may focus on improving communication, managing conflict, rebuilding emotional connection, increasing friendship and intimacy, and understanding recurring patterns within the relationship. Because therapy needs to fit into real life, I offer virtual sessions with late-night and select earlier evening
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy works best when clients feel respected, understood, and free to be themselves. I value compassion, authenticity, personal responsibility, and the idea that meaningful change does not require perfection. My role is not to tell you how to live your life, but to help you better understand yourself, your relationships, and the patterns that may be getting in your way. Outside of my work, I value family, animals, humor, and finding enjoyment in everyday life. I appreciate working with people from a wide range of backgrounds and believe therapy should be a welcoming space where clients can speak openly about what matters most to them.
