I work with adolsecents with emotional issues, as well as young adults interested in exploring their career and occupational goals. I have worked for decades with women who are considering marriage, pursuing pregnancy, or those who are unexpectedly pregnant, or facing divorce. I have a background in reproductive endocrinology and have worked with couples struggling with infertility. I take a holistic approach in working with women undergoing perimenopause, menopause, and cancer.

As a mother of four children, I understand the need to balance raising children, purusing a career, and establishing work-life balance. I enjoy helping Moms find self-care activities that they can incorporate into their busy lives. I work with parents of children experiencing mental health issues, normal growth and developmental issues, and those with children with special needs.

I partner with women during pregnany and in the postpartum period to provide education, medication management, therapy, and coaching during the perinatal period. I am certified in Perinatal Mental Health and treat women with postpartum depression, anxiety, OCD, and psychosis. I am one of the only provider's with expertise in postpartum psychosis. I conduct intensive pregnancy-focused retreats for expectant families to provide a foundation for care throughout the perinatal period.

I utilize a variety of therapuetic practices to provide an individualized plan of care to meet an indivudal's needs. Much like learning, there is no one size fits all approach to self-discovery and self-exploration. I utilize a variety of approaches to help client's think and experience things in different ways. I use an innovative appraoch that draws upon different evidence-based approached including, Walk and Talk Therapy, Nature Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Art Therapy, and Mind-Body Balancing

Therapuetic coaching provides clients with diverse needs the opportunities to consult from anywhere using a HIPPA-compliant, telemedicine platform. Clients sign up for a series of sessions usually to address a specific need. Many women with postpartum mood disorders,including postpartum psychosis, utilize coaching to obtain education, treatment options, coordiante care services, and may opt for intensive weekend sessions to address unique needs in a faster pace recovery model.

For most of us, there are seasons of life that are harder to endure and master than others. I know there are bumps in the road that sometimes warrant brief psychological intervention. Solution-Focused Therapy is a brief intervention designed to offer support, guidance, and allows the client to use their own strengths to overcome problems and address issues. Solution-focused therapy is goal-oriented and focuses on how the client will creativity solve problems to move forward more productivity.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a treatment used to alleviate the distress associated with traumatic memories by facilitating the accessing and processing of traumatic memories and other adverse life experience and create an adaptive resolution. EMDR is an intervention that can help individuals experiencing multiple forms of trauma. New associations result in complete information processing, new learning, elimination of emotional distress, and develop cognitive insight.
