About My Clients
My aim is work collaboratively and identify an approach that is going to be most useful for you, integrating feedback into our work to further that goal.
My Background and Approach
I'm a client centered integrative psychotherapist who values client feedback and centering and amplifying client experiences, goals, values and skills. I work part time in private practice and also for the University of Michigan's department of psychiatry anxiety clinic. In response to a clients needs and preferences, I like to flexibly offer intervention strategies rooted in the principles of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as needed. I have an MSW from the University of Michigan, where I am also completing a joint PhD in Social Work and Sociology with a dissertation focused on therapist education.
