About My Clients
You've spent years meeting expectations, anticipating what everyone around you needs, and holding yourself to a standard you'd never impose on anyone else. For a long time that worked. What's left now is an exhaustion that rest doesn't touch, along with the unsettling sense that you've lost track of what you actually want. Maybe you've been in therapy before and understand your patterns well, yet understanding alone hasn't changed them. That's where we begin.
My Background and Approach
I'm a Los Angeles native and have practiced psychotherapy for over a decade, working with both individuals and couples. My clinical career began in crisis and hospital settings, including two years counseling on the National Suicide Prevention hotline and the partial hospitalization program at Weill Cornell. I went on to spend several years in community mental health before transitioning to group and private practice. I hold a Master of Social Work from New York University, along with a certificate in somatic psychotherapy. As a therapist, I focus on the root cause of an issue rather than its symptoms, taking a holistic, depth-oriented view in which mind and body are treated as one system. Our work may draw on Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, somatic and nervous system-informed therapy, and psychodynamic, attachment-based and relational approaches. I'll also tell you what I'm noticing as I notice it, and explain the reasoning behind it, so the process never feels opaque.

I'm a participant in the room rather than a neutral presence, and when something strikes me I'll say so instead of letting it sit quietly between us. I value curiosity over judgment, authenticity over expectation, and creating a space where people can explore who they are and how they want to live without having to fit themselves into someone else's version of what a life or relationship should look like. Outside the therapy room I'm also a mother, an experience that has furthered my appreciation for the complexity, resilience and tenderness involved in being human. I'm partial to road trips, forest bathing, thrifting, Ojai, herbalism and tacos. Still working on: slowing down, receiving, indecision and letting
