About My Clients

I offer an inviting, collaborative, and down-to-earth counseling environment for women, teens, couples, LGBTQ+ individuals, and marginalized communities. My work blends authentic human connection with practical, real-world tools so that our time together produces tangible, meaningful changes in your day-to-day routine, not just theoretical conversations in an office. We will work as an active team to examine what is holding you back and equip you with strategies to move forward.

My Background and Approach

I am a Master’s-level clinician with training in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a trauma-informed approach to care. My counseling style is eclectic, strengths-based, solution-focused, and holistic, allowing me to tailor therapy to each client’s unique needs, goals, and experiences. I draw from approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, and reality-based modalities. I have a particular interest in working with women, adolescents, couples, anxiety, relationship concerns, life transitions, self-esteem, and those navigating difficult or overwhelming experiences. I believe therapy should feel collaborative, supportive, and down-to-earth, not like you are being judged or “fixed.” Together, we will identify what is no longer serving you, build practical tools for moving forward, and create meaningful, achievable goals that support the life you want to build.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe every person deserves to feel heard, respected, and accepted for who they are. My approach to counseling is grounded in empathy, curiosity, authenticity, and the belief that people are more than their struggles or diagnoses. My background in social psychology research has deepened my interest in how relationships, social environments, identity, and life experiences shape the way we see ourselves and interact with the world around us. This perspective reminds me to look beyond the individual and consider the larger context of a person’s life. I value creating an inclusive, judgment-free space where clients can explore difficult experiences, better understand themselves, and feel empowered to make meaningful changes. I believe therapy should honor each person’s individuality while helping them recognize their strengths, build confidence, and create a life that feels more aligned with who they are.
