About My Clients
I work with adults who struggle with worrying, overthinking, self esteem issues and. the person who works with me is a high functioning person who would like to focus on self exploration and growth.
My Background and Approach
My therapeutic style is Integrative or holistic. I don't believe there is one direct method of treatment for anyone. I pull from my training and use modalities including CBT, DBT, art therapy, trauma focused (if needed), and family systems to name some. Most importantly is the relationship developed in the therapeutic space. My approach is I am open about what I notice, I do challenge as needed, but I am not judgmental. I believe I would not be doing my job if I didn't say anything about what may be "getting in the way". I have a passion for tackling the "-isms" and the effects it has on society and the people in it. This work allows me to work with people who know the importance of being culturally aware/competent. I offer a space for non minorities to begin or continue to explore their identity in this diverse world.
