About My Clients
It can be overwhelming and burdensome to not live a life in alignment with who you want to be. We can lead lives that feel as if we are merely putting one foot in front of the other, leaving us feeling stuck. If you feel it is time to pursue change in order to live a meaningful, fulfilling life, as your authentic self, but are not sure where to begin, you are right where you need to be: with someone who walks with you through your past to run with you towards a better future.
My Background and Approach
As a therapist, it is an honor to be a part of your journey in a safe, secure space to gain a deeper understanding of who you are, find value intrinsically in self, and align your values and beliefs with what you want for your future. I hold space for my clients in a non-judgmental, person-centered capacity, while incorporating humor, warmth, directness, and empathy. I respect all paths of life and value my client’s self- determination and therefore, utilize an holistic and eclectic approach to meet my clients where they are at for healing, growth, and finding a life worth living. I hope to support you in your journey towards making changes that reflect a life that you truly want to own by showing up and actively listening to your narrative to help you feel heard and your story honored.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, EMDR, Psychodynamic Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness and Strengths-based focus into therapy. I strive to utilize your strengths, desires, and self-understanding to live a life worth living and of acceptance. I hold space for my clients in a non-judgmental, person-centered capacity, while incorporating humor, warmth, directness, and empathy. I care deeply about establishing a therapeutic relationship built on trust and connection, so let me be a part of your path to healing.
