I love working with teens, kiddos, parents, 20's and 30 somethings and couples. I'm very person centered and love creating a safe place to journey through the muck together.
My Background and Approach
Hi! I’m Michaela Luck! I wound up being a counselor after many years of me-search and research. I traveled internationally, worked for a church, went through my own bouts of trauma and started nerding out on trauma to figure out what the heck was happening to my body. I wanted to make sense of why my body was responding the way it was, and fell in love with researching trauma and responses. I also had an amazing counselor who met me where I was and showed me that emotions do matter and helped me feel safe in them. This all led me back to school to get my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Now, I love my job. I love advocating for people and meeting them where they are. I love implementing my own knowledge and education to help people understand their responses to make sense of them. I also love helping others figure out how to do life well by implementing boundaries, healthy communication and fun.
