Affirming Virtual EMDR Therapy

Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Jersey City, NJ

About My Clients

Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, trauma, or disconnection in relationships. Many are survivors of sexual violence or religious harm and many are experiencing minority stress as people who are LGBTQ+ or are immigrants. Often, they’ve had to hide parts of themselves to stay safe or belong. Together, we create space to unlearn those patterns and move toward clarity, connection, and self-trust.

My Background and Approach

I'm a licensed clinical social worker with advanced training in EMDR, attachment-focused and somatic approaches, and multicultural therapy. My work is grounded in the belief that integration happens in relationship—especially when we feel seen, safe, and free to be fully ourselves. I work with clients who carry anxiety, trauma, and relational wounds, especially those navigating identity, marginalization, or recovery from sexual violence or religious harm. Our work may involve processing pain, building nervous system regulation, or exploring the parts of you that have learned to hide. I bring a warm, attuned, and nonjudgmental presence, but I’m not afraid to gently challenge you or provide accountability. I also believe that laughter, humor, and joy aren’t distractions from the work—they’re part of it. They help build our capacity for connection, healing, and growth. I have over six years of experience and welcome any teens (14+) or adults who are interested to contact me!

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I'm a queer, trauma-informed therapist who believes in the dignity and agency of people navigating systems not built for them. My work is shaped by a commitment to anti-oppressive practice, immigrant and LGBTQ+ rights, and the belief that mental health is deeply political and relational. I care about justice, joy, and helping people reclaim parts of themselves that have been silenced. This also means supporting people in building communities outside of the therapy space. I’m also passionate about creating spaces where laughter, cultural complexity, and self-trust can thrive.
