About My Clients

You’ve learned to push through, hiding how you truly feel. Your mind races to fix things, but it only makes it worse. You feel secretly flawed while others seem fine. On the surface, life looks good—job, friends—but inside, there’s self-criticism, frustration, and loneliness. You’re self-aware yet filled with doubt, struggling to trust yourself. These feelings are tough, but you’re not alone. Many, including me, have been there. As your therapist, I can relate.

My Background and Approach

As a teen, I struggled with depression, anxiety, and the effects of developmental and intergenerational trauma. Like many of my clients, I saw no way through. Then, in my early twenties, I had a transformative psychedelic plant medicine ceremony, sparking a long healing journey. This journey led me to Ayahuasca retreats in the Amazon and Mexico, silent meditation retreats, and various therapies. I know what it’s like to struggle—and to find deep relief. Healing is possible. Being a therapist is my calling. My path is one of deepening love—for myself, others, and nature. This is a spiritual journey, and my work is part of it. As I heal, I grow stronger, wiser, and more loving—better able to hold others’ suffering. I’m still a work in progress. I won’t pretend to have it all figured out. I bring my full self to therapy—friendliness, humor, playfulness, compassion, and authenticity.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that as human beings, our natural state is one of love, compassion, joy, and peace. When we are very young, we are more connected with this natural ground state. As we grow up, we get hurt, traumatized, and invalidated, and lose touch with this innate well-being. I believe healing is essentially a remembrance, a return to this which is our birthright. I believe we all long for happiness and to be free of suffering, and that this common thread unites us. We are all motivated to find connection, safety, and joy, and I trust the parts of you that have been trying so hard to find this for yourself. As your therapist, I will see you from this place. I will trust your innate longing and capacity to once again feel this freedom and belonging.
