About My Clients
I work with individuals and couples navigating chronic pain, chronic illness, trauma, and the anxiety and depression that often come alongside them.
My Background and Approach
I frequently use Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy with my clients, a compassionate model that helps us understand the different parts of ourselves involved in our symptoms. I draw on EMDR, Brainspotting, somatic, and mindfulness to work with what's in body to create new experiences of safety. Healing happens by going slow, and caring deeply. For couples, I bring my background as an ICEEFT-Certified Emotionally-Focused Couples Therapist with additional training in IFS applied to couples relationships to our virtual sessions. Other areas of training include Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) and Emotion Awareness and Expression Therapy (EAET) for the treatment of chronic pain or traumatic experiences; along with Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) treatment for those suffering from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) or anxiety.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am part of the LGBTQ community, have lived experience of multiple chronic pain conditions, and also love to integrate spirituality into work with clients if it fits your framework.
