About My Clients
I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, insomnia, eating-related concerns, and life transitions. Many of my clients feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve them and want more than temporary symptom relief. Together, we'll explore what's contributing to your struggles, develop practical tools for change, and build a path toward a healthier, more fulfilling life. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and focused on lasting growth.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW) and Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional (CIMHP) with more than a decade of experience in the mental health field. I earned my Master's in Social Work from the University of Kansas School of Social Welfare and have worked in both clinical and leadership roles throughout my career. My primary therapeutic foundation is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and I have received specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD and anxiety, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT-E), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I). As a CIMHP, I take a holistic approach to mental health by considering factors such as sleep, nutrition, stress, and lifestyle alongside traditional therapy. My goal is to help clients gain insight, develop effective coping skills, and create meaningful, sustainable change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
## Personal Belief Statement I believe lasting change happens when we move beyond simply managing symptoms and begin to understand the patterns, experiences, and beliefs shaping our lives. Many people struggling with OCD, eating disorders, anxiety, or other mental health concerns feel stuck in cycles that seem impossible to break. My role is not to fix you, but to help you better understand yourself, develop effective tools, and create meaningful change that aligns with your values and goals. I believe therapy should be collaborative, practical, and individualized. Treatment is most effective when it considers the whole person—not just their symptoms. By integrating evidence-based approaches with an understanding of factors such as sleep, nutrition, stress, and lifestyle, I help clients build a healthier and more sustainable relationship with themselves. Above all, I believe growth is possible, and that meaningful change can happen one step at a time.
