About My Clients

Sometimes we find ourselves repeating patterns that feel familiar, yet leave us feeling stuck or disconnected. My background includes working with LGBTQIA+ individuals, substance use, and those living with HIV/AIDS. While these experiences inform my work, I support clients across a wide range of concerns. Using a relational approach informed by evidence-based practices, we explore patterns shaping your current experience and integrate your past in service of a life that feels more like you.

My Background and Approach

I am an Associate psychotherapist with experience supporting individuals across a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, substance use, identity formation, and chronic health conditions. My background includes community mental health, psychiatric hospital settings, and training in a neuropsychology focused clinic, allowing me to integrate an understanding of how the brain and body respond to life experiences. Working relationally and collaboratively, I draw from various modalities to provide tools that support relief in the moment and long-term growth. I also incorporate psychodynamic perspectives to help clients understand recurring patterns in their lives that influence current functioning. Together, we build psychological flexibility so you can respond to challenges both in and outside of therapy.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Trying to make sense of life can be deeply enriching, and it can also come with its fair share of bumps along the way. Many of the patterns we struggle with began as ways to cope, survive, or belong. I approach therapy with curiosity rather than judgment. I value honesty, reflection, and work that feels grounded in real life. I am committed to LGBTQIA+ affirming care and creating a space that is inclusive, respectful, and one that honors identity and lived experience. My work in community mental health, psychiatric hospital settings, and training at a neuropsychology informed clinic has shaped how I think about the brain, body, and emotional life. With a warm and direct style, meaningful change comes from understanding yourself more fully.
