My Background and Approach
I specialize in helping individuals and couples overcome anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief, career stress, military transitions, and relationship challenges. Using a holistic, integrative approach, I tailor therapy to your needs, blending Solution-Focused Therapy, CBT, and Mindfulness to provide practical tools, emotional support, and lasting change. I understand that seeking help can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. Whether you're facing stress, relationship struggles, or major transitions, I provide a safe, supportive space to help you heal and grow. Change is possible, and I’m here to guide you toward clarity, confidence, and a stronger future. I have been married for 20 years, have multiple children, served in the Army, and experienced a lot of life .
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing begins with feeling understood, respected, and safe enough to be honest. My work is grounded in the belief that every person has inherent worth, resilience, and the capacity for growth—regardless of where they are in life or what they have experienced. I value authenticity, accountability, and compassion, both in counseling and in how I show up as a human being. As a U.S. Army veteran, service and community matter deeply to me. I believe in meeting people where they are, honoring lived experience, and recognizing the strength it takes to ask for support. I am committed to creating an inclusive, judgment-free space where clients of all backgrounds, identities, and life paths feel seen and respected. I believe mental health care should look at the whole person—not just symptoms—and should empower clients to build meaningful, sustainable change. My goal is to walk alongside clients as they reconnect with purpose, strengthen relationships, and move in life.
