About My Clients
I work with people suffering from effects of trauma, low mood, anxiety, relationship issues and who simply aim to better themselves. I specialize in helping break emotionally uncomfortable patterns rooted in past difficult experience. Experiences as children/teens shape the way we carry ourselves as adults. We might be functioning at a high level professionally and socially but there can be periods of emotional struggle. This can often be calmed without recalling each detail of your past.
My Background and Approach
At your own pace you and I can loosen the grip emotions have on the “rational” part of the brain. This will help to leave past dilemmas behind and move toward more fulfilling experiences and relationships. I work with people from different walks of life facing different challenges. I am versed in a number of effective approaches to therapy. I view part of my role as highlighting your strengths, honoring your points of view but also challenging your comfort zone when appropriate. Main areas of focus are calming difficult thoughts and feelings that affect daily living, trauma recovery, relationship issues.
