About My Clients
I work with clients facing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, substance use, stress, and major life transitions. In our early sessions, we'll identify what's keeping you stuck and create a focused, practical plan for change. Many clients begin to experience improved stability, clearer thinking, and healthier coping within the first several weeks, with continued progress over time.
My Background and Approach
I specialize in working with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, substance use, and major life transitions. Using CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Narrative Therapy, I help clients build emotional regulation, challenge unhelpful patterns, and create practical, values-driven change that feels steady and sustainable. Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, especially if you’re used to handling things on your own. You don’t have to come in with perfect insight or a clear plan, just a willingness to begin. If you’re ready to feel more steady, more self-aware, and more in control of your next steps, I’d be honored to support you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My approach to therapy is collaborative and grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Narrative Therapy. I help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, focus on what is within their control, and develop practical strategies for responding to life’s challenges. Through narrative work, we explore and reshape the stories clients hold about themselves, separating identity from circumstance and strengthening personal agency. I emphasize values-based decision-making, emotional regulation, and accountability balanced with self-compassion. My goal is to support resilience, perspective, and meaningful change aligned with each client’s values.
