My Background and Approach
With close to 20 years of experience in the mental health field, I have learned to utilize a strengths-based perspective along with a client-centered approach with my patients, however depending on your situation, needs, and individual symptoms I will utilize my realm of skills to meet your needs and collaborate on a plan that best fits your needs. I utilize treatment from CBT, DBT, EMDR and several other approaches to best meet your needs and symptoms in a trauma informed approach.

You are the expert on your life; I am here to offer guidance, perspective, coping skills, support, and we can explore your thoughts, behaviors, and patterns to uncover what might be holding you back and discover new ways to navigate life's challenges. You can expect that I will honor your unique experience and offer a tailored approach in a safe environment where we can have meaningful and productive conversations! I do utilize humor, anecdote's, metaphors, history and other ways to teach and help my patients learn and understand mental health in a way that truly resonates best for them in session!
