About My Clients
Feeling alone, depressed, angry, or anxious? Talking about it is the first step, and a hard one at that. I prioritize creating an environment of care and transparency where your values and comfort always come first. The number one goal in therapy is to feel happy and to live a meaningful life. This comes from many smaller goals that we will work on together, whether it be making quality relationships, gaining coping skills, or recovering from past trauma or loss.
My Background and Approach
Therapy provides us with an opportunity to express ourselves and receive support. My therapy style is client-centered, and I draw from acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and psychoanalysis to help build insight and to help you pursue what you value in life. I believe understanding ourselves and the world around us is key to long-lasting health.
