About My Clients

Do you feel frustrated with therapy that focuses only on validating your feelings without offering practical solutions, or with therapists who don’t seem to fully understand the depth of what you're going through? I’m here to offer both deep understanding and actionable tools. Together, we’ll explore the root of your struggles and find meaningful solutions, so you can navigate your emotions with confidence and move forward with peace.

My Background and Approach

Do you feel like, no matter how much you process your trauma, some struggles continue to resurface? I remember going to my first therapy appointment and thinking, “Stop using these interventions on me! I know this isn’t genuine.” That experience taught me that real growth happens with a therapist who is authentic, kind, and can be trusted to speak the truth. My approach focuses on helping you find peace by accepting your limitations and learning to transform parts of yourself you dislike into sources of strength and creativity. As a Licensed Professional Counselor and graduate of Franciscan University, I specialize in trauma healing, emotionally focused couples therapy, and Carl Jung’s work. My clients often feel a deep sense of comfort from the first session, allowing us to dive into meaningful work together and transform struggles into stepping stones for a more peaceful, empowered life.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that true healing comes from being genuine—both with ourselves and with others. In therapy, authenticity is key. When we can be real, compassionate, and honest, we create a space where deep transformation can happen. I also believe that every person carries within them intuitive wisdom—the body and soul know what they need to heal, even if it feels buried beneath layers of pain or confusion. Our job is to uncover that wisdom, trusting the process of growth. Through my work, I’ve seen that the human spirit is incredibly resilient. Even in the darkest moments, there is potential for light, for creativity, and for profound change. It’s not about erasing pain, but about learning to channel it into something meaningful. By accepting our limitations and embracing the parts of ourselves we’ve rejected, we can turn struggles into stepping stones for growth. Whether it's trauma, disconnection, or self-doubt, I believe in the capacity of the human spirit to overcome it all and find pea
