I have spent years practicing and developing my skill with CBT while part of my graduate program training. This skill was further developed through years of direct clinical experience working in a variety of settings, including substance abuse treatment centers, the department of children and families, the juvenile justice department, and community mental health agencies.

I have been practicing mindfulness meditation since I was fifteen years old, when I first sought treatment for my own mental health problems. Engaging in a daily mindfulness practice for years helps me provide relevant guidance and relate to clients struggles as they begin their own practice during therapy. My teaching experience ranges from working with groups as large as thirty people to as small as one person.
