About My Clients
You have a love/hate relationship with alcohol--sometimes it's enough to make you throw up. Feelings of guilt and shame about drinking hang heavy on your heart. Last night you had not a care in the world. This morning it’s hard to look at yourself in the mirror. Embarrassing episodes from the past haunt you. The hangovers are upsetting, but not as upsetting as the anxiety and depression you keep at bay with alcohol. You know your life would be better if you could change.
My Background and Approach
Let’s clear the fog together! Reclaim your power and your life. I can help you discover more confidence, more control, and a better quality of life. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
We can work together on moderation or abstinence as treatment goals. I individualize treatment based on what your needs and preferences are in addition to what I believe is clinically appropriate and supported by research. Examples might include Moderation Management, Alcoholics or Narcotics Anonymous, SMART Recovery, CRAFT, Behavioral Couples Therapy, or other strategies and techniques along with self-help groups. I also provide services to adults affected by a loved one's substance misuse and offer a variety of options including CRAFT, SMART Recovery Families and Friends, Behavioral Couples Therapy, and Al-Anon.
