I specialize in providing therapy for adults, couples, adolescents, and families. I work with each person to promote insight, self-awareness, and empowerment as we build coping skills, heal trauma, identify issues, and improve relationships with others. I am passionate about helping clients identify the "root cause" of their struggles.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Michigan and Ohio. I have worked with children and families for the vast majority of my career, which continues to be my passion and primary area of focus. I specialize in the areas of trauma, adolescents, and families which encompasses my previous work which surrounds family and relationships.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that the foundation of life starts with our family relationships. From the time we are young, our interactions with others create our beliefs, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. These early childhood experiences help develop our personality and outlook on life. As we grow, it is important for us to keep in mind where we come from, who we are, and what we want in our future.
