About My Clients
I work with children, teens, and their parents navigating anxiety, OCD, ADHD, and selective mutism. Many of my clients are insightful, caring, and motivated but feel stuck by worry, perfectionism, or focus challenges. Together, we build understanding, confidence, and practical tools to manage big feelings and move toward meaningful growth—at home, school, and beyond.
My Background and Approach
Mia's clinical philosophy centers on treating the symptoms, not the diagnosis, using evidence-based methods tailored to each client's unique needs, pulling from her training in CBT, ERP, PCIT-SM, PCIT, and behavioral parent training. She has hands-on clinical experience from her practicum at Brave Seattle and her two years as a Pediatric Mental Health Specialist at Seattle Children's Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine Unit. Mia primarily focuses on building emotion regulation and distress tolerance, approaching her work with sensitivity and compassion. She champions early intervention to help empower children to navigate the world confidently.
