About My Clients
Maybe you're the one everyone leans on, and no one asks how you're holding up. Maybe anxiety has started waking you at 3 a.m., or you've built the life you were supposed to want and feel oddly hollow inside it. I work with adults, couples, and families facing depression, anxiety, relationship struggles, and life transitions, including Korean and Korean-American clients navigating the pull between two cultures.
My Background and Approach
I'm a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT No. 134773) supervised by Angeles Sedano, LCSW 121429, at Dr. Adam Sternberg's group practice in Santa Monica. I earned my M.A. in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University, and my undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Temple University. My approach is both practical and deep. I draw on CBT and DBT for the immediate work: what to do when your chest tightens on a Sunday night, how to say a hard thing without damaging the relationship. I also use insight-oriented and family systems work to understand where a pattern came from, what it once protected you from, and what it's costing you now. I see clients online anywhere in California, in Korean and English. Reaching out is often the hardest part. Call or email for a free 15-minute consultation.
