About My Clients
If you're neurodivergent, if you're struggling with a traumatic experience, grief, or simply trying to understand your patterns better, we might be a good fit! I like to bring some levity to the therapy process, and really focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship. We will do some digging together and fertilize the soil for some new patterns and relationships.
My Background and Approach
I really love internal family systems (IFS) and mindfulness techniques. I have found the intersection of these modalities to allow my clients to notice their thoughts and parts, rather than over-identify with them. We live in a day where everyone is self-diagnosing and labeling themselves, and I am more interested in the details of your parts and how they developed. I also enjoy helping my clients find new relationships to their thoughts and parts, and build the capacity to adjust their thought patterns.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a queer-affirming and neurodivergent affirming practitioner. I am open to working with people of any faith, and have a ton of experience with children and families, as well as adults with ADHD, anxiety, trauma, or interpersonal conflicts. I have worked with adults going through divorce, couples seeking therapy to address their relational patterns, and new mothers dealing with an evolving identity. I feel confident in my ability to tailor my care for each client, as long as we enjoy each others company and get along well, there's nothing we can't do!
