About My Clients
Are you a teen or young adult feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, navigating big life changes, or working through past experiences that still impact you today? You're not alone—and you don’t have to go through it alone. Whether you're trying to make sense of your emotions, set healthier boundaries, or simply feel more in control of your life, therapy can can be a space for healing and growth. I’m here to help you feel grounded, understood, and empowered.
My Background and Approach
I specialize in working with adolescents and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. My clinical experience includes working with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. I take a Person-Centered Approach, which incorporates Evidence-Based Practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness-Based Interventions to support meaningful change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that therapy should be a space where people feel truly seen and accepted. My work is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves compassion, dignity, and the opportunity to grow into the most authentic version of themselves. As a social worker, I see mental health as deeply connected to our environments, relationships, and lived experiences—not just as individual struggles to “fix,” but as meaningful parts of your story that deserve care and understanding. Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time in nature—whether it’s hiking trails around Austin, exploring new places, or simply being present outdoors. I also love learning new languages and diving into different cultures, which continually reminds me of the diversity of human experience and resilience. Healing isn’t always linear, and change doesn’t have to happen all at once, but with patience and empowerment, it will be possible.
