My Background and Approach
My passion for this work began when I volunteered as a child advocate. That experience opened my eyes to the importance of having someone in your corner—and I knew I wanted to be that person for others. That experience led me to pursue my master’s degree in Counseling from Cal State Fullerton, with a focus on Marriage and Family. I have over 10 years of experience working in various settings with children, adults, and families. I help clients navigate a range of challenges including anxiety, depression, ADHD, substance use, anger, grief, life transitions, and relationship issues. My approach is strength-based, collaborative, and tailored to each person’s unique needs. I draw from evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support meaningful, lasting change. I also believe in using helpful tools between sessions, like videos and online resources, to keep the progress going. I’m always learning and growing—and I’m passionate about helping my clients do the same.
