About My Clients
You may have noticed your child feeling overwhelmed, anxious, frustrated, or struggling to navigate school, friendships, or daily routines. I aim to provide a safe, supportive space where your child can feel understood, express themselves, and build confidence. Using play, creativity, and evidence-based strategies, I help children develop skills to manage challenges and grow. I also work closely with parents, offer parent-based treatments, and social skills groups.
My Background and Approach
With a background as a school social worker, and 6 years in private practice, I’ve spent years supporting children, adolescents, and families within educational settings—helping students navigate challenges, building strong partnerships with teachers and parents, and leading teams of social workers to enhance school-wide support systems. I’ve developed and implemented social-emotional learning (SEL) and social skills programs designed to help children build confidence, connection, and resilience. My approach in private practice reflects this same collaborative spirit: I combine extensive training in play therapy, CBT, and behavioral therapy with a deep understanding of the environments where children learn and grow. I strive to make therapy a warm, playful, and nonjudgmental space where kids can express themselves freely, and where parents feel empowered with tools, understanding, and confidence to support their child’s success both at home and at school.
