My Background and Approach
I believe therapy is rooted in each individual’s inherent capacity for growth. I prioritize a collaborative therapeutic relationship in which you are able to feel seen, valued, and understood. I am committed to providing a space of acceptance, non-judgment, and self-exploration to support you in addressing challenges and creating a more meaningful and fulfilling life. I believe that you are the expert on yourself and encourage you to be an active participant in the therapeutic process. I approach therapy with an attitude of curiosity, facilitating your exploration and understanding of the symptoms, interpersonal patterns, thought processes, and emotions you experience. I work from a holistic and person-centered approach, drawing from a variety of treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, and Mindfulness.
