My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is grounded in empathy and compassion. I am committed to working together with you to set therapeutic goals and create the appropriate treatment plan. I wholeheartedly believe that you are capable and you are the expert in your own life, and I am here to support you on your journey. In our sessions, I draw from different therapeutic modalities like Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), mindfulness-based practices, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), but ultimately allow you to drive how you want therapy to go. I am EMDR trained to help with trauma and grief. People are created for connection and I would love to connect with you. Even though it can be scary to take this first step, you are brave and I am here for you.
