About My Clients

Even loving relationships can begin to feel stuck. You may find yourselves caught in recurring conflict, feeling disconnected, struggling to communicate, or missing each other despite good intentions. Couples therapy creates space to slow down, better understand the patterns beneath the tension, and rebuild emotional safety, closeness, and connection. Together, we work toward helping each partner feel more understood and supported in the relationship.

My Background and Approach

As a licensed couples therapist, I have received specialized training in working with couples and families, with a focus on understanding relational dynamics and patterns within systems. I have completed an Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) Externship and additional trainings on attachment-based approaches. These models inform everything I do in session - with couples, families, and individuals. We are inherently relational beings, exploring attachment patterns and the ways connection has shaped you can be an important part of understanding your story and creating meaningful change. We’ll explore patterns and cycles, increase self-awareness, and develop practical skills that support emotional safety. You don’t have to figure this out alone. I’ll walk alongside you as we make sense of what you’re experiencing, at a pace that feels steady and manageable.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I'm LGBTQIA+ affirming and neurodivergent informed. I’m committed to creating a space where you can show up fully yourself. I’ve pursued ongoing training with the goal of being a more informed, affirming, and responsive therapist. I care deeply for those recovering from faith and religious trauma and pain, those deconstructing harmful or challenging beliefs, and the relief and clarity it brings as well as the grief, fear, or uncertainty. Life and relationships can feel overwhelming. My hope is that our counseling space feels safe enough for honesty, vulnerability, and growth.
