About My Clients
You are the high-functioning "fixer"—the educator, leader, or professional everyone leans on. On paper, you’re handling it all, but internally, the weight of systemic burnout, relational complexity, or identity transitions has become unsustainable. You’re looking for more than a vent session; you want a sophisticated, direct space where you don’t have to be the expert. You value clinical depth and are ready to trade "just getting by" for authentic, sustainable growth.
My Background and Approach
With over 17 years of clinical experience, my approach is grounded in deep expertise and practical results. Since becoming an LICSW in 2009, I have navigated high-intensity crisis settings, outpatient care, and over a decade within the public school system. In my private practice, established in 2011, I integrate Psychotherapy with CBT, EFT, and Relational Therapy. This allows us to move beyond symptoms, fostering sustainable growth for professionals navigating complex transitions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy is a collaborative partnership built on radical empathy, clinical integrity, and an unwavering belief in human resilience. My philosophy is rooted in the idea that while trauma and life transitions can fragment our sense of self, the therapeutic relationship provides the safe container necessary for integration and growth. I don’t view clients as a set of symptoms, but as individuals navigating complex systems—family, culture, and career. Having lived and worked across three continents, I bring a global, trauma-informed lens to my practice. Whether we are addressing ADHD, PTSD, or the disorientation of a major move, I combine high-level clinical insight with "boots-on-the-ground" strategies. My goal is to honor your unique cultural history and provide a space where you feel empowered to reclaim your agency and navigate life’s "ups and downs" with clarity and strength.
