About My Clients
If you are feeling anxious, self critical, impatient, down or worried, I would like to help you feel more confident, calm, in control, and engaged in your life. My approach to counseling is to create a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore and overcome obstacles in order to heal, grow, and reach their full potential. With patience and understanding, I’ll assist you in finding solutions, and building strength and resiliency.
My Background and Approach
I have my Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work and have specialized training and experience utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness based interventions. This means that we will explore how you think and feel, and find ways to challenge and transform unhelpful thoughts and behaviors in order to develop and increase the feelings of being present, self compassionate, and intentional.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a LGBTQ+ affirming therapist and welcome clients from every sexuality, gender, background, and identity. I will create a safe space for you to process your thoughts and feelings without judgement, explore new perspectives and ways of looking at situations differently, find your inner strength, and discover your own solutions to your struggles.
