About My Clients
I love to work with individuals who are ready to move beyond the cycles that leave them feeling stuck, used, hurt, and disconnected from their true selves. Change is hard and meaningful transformation can feel both impossible and lonely. These patterns often show up as -Unhealthy coping mechanisms, bad habits, or difficulty stress -Difficulty forming or maintaining connections -Self-sabotage, self-harm, or suicidal thoughts -Low self-esteem and dissatisfaction in relationships or family life.
My Background and Approach
I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals and families across all stages of life. I walk with you to develop healthier coping strategies, deepen your connections, improve communication, and cultivate self-compassion. My approach is rooted in understanding your unique needs and inner drive, combining systematic and holistic perspectives. I’m trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy, and I draw from techniques in motivational interviewing, Emotion-Focused Family Therapy, Play Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. My passion lies in truly connecting with you, building trust, and identifying the interventions and modalities that resonate most deeply. Once a foundation of stability is established through better coping skills and evidence-based techniques, we’ll equip you with practical tools to manage emotions, cultivate greater peacefulness in your life, and transform unhelpful patterns.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that all people deserve a peace of mind, psychical safety, healthy relationships, and self-confidence. I grew up in a big family with people from a wide variety of backgrounds, ethnicities, and needs. This informs my style of healing and therapy. We all need a safe space and safe people along the journey as we grow and try to push ourselves to become people with lives we love. I am deeply honored when someone chooses to share that journey with me and be a witness to their progress. My practice is LGBTQIA+ affirming, culturally responsive, and welcoming to all identities. I offer in-person sessions in South Seattle and virtual therapy throughout WA.
