About My Clients
My clinical experiences include providing field-based mental health services and crisis interventions to the underserved population struggling with severe diagnoses such as schizophrenia. I also worked with homeless veterans with PTSD, helped teenagers with anxiety and stress management in a school-based program, as well as assisted outpatient groups with incarcerated adults in recovery from substance abuse.
My Background and Approach
In therapy, I often utilize depth psychology and psychodynamic approaches, working with our unconscious and past history to help gain insights into current behaviors. I believe in tailoring my therapy approach based on each client’s needs. And depending on your needs, I can integrate various modalities such as family systems, expressive art, dream therapy, and attachment theory. I was born in Taiwan, speak Mandarin as my first language, and have been living in southern California for more than ten years. If you are an immigrant encountering challenges brought by language barriers or cultural differences, you are not alone. I can create and hold a safe therapeutic container for you to process, feel understood and empowered.
