Affirming therapy for growth, identity, and healing which centers care, connection, and cultural humility

Clinical Social Worker in Rochester, NY

About My Clients

My clients are adults and couples who are navigating the complexities of identity, relationships, and healing. Many are BIPOC, multiracial, or LGBTQ+ individuals seeking a therapist who understands the impact of cultural, racial, and generational trauma. Others carry the weight of unresolved experiences and are looking for a space that feels safe, grounded, and nonjudgmental.

My Background and Approach

I'm EMDR certified and offer ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) for clients seeking a deeper level of trauma work. My approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in trauma-informed care. I believe that healing happens in safe relationships—and that your story deserves to be held with care and curiosity. I primarily see individuals, but I’m also welcoming more couples into my practice—especially those navigating cultural or identity-based challenges, communication breakdowns, or trauma within the relationship. While I often work with trauma-related symptoms, I do not treat major depression or substance dependence as primary diagnoses. Above all, I believe that healing is possible—even if it’s felt out of reach. You don’t have to do it alone. I’m here to support you in reclaiming your voice, your story, and your path forward.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a second generation biracial Korean and white woman, I understand how complex and layered identity can be—especially when it comes to navigating cultural expectations, racial trauma, and intergenerational wounds. My practice centers those who often feel they live between worlds: bi- and multiracial individuals, people of color, and those whose lived experiences are too often overlooked or misunderstood. I am deeply honored to work with adults from diverse racial and cultural backgrounds, including BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities, as they explore identity, heal trauma, and reclaim their stories. Whether you're wrestling with racial identity, carrying the weight of family legacies, or managing the invisible scars of PTSD, you are welcome here. My approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in trauma-informed care. I believe that healing happens in safe relationships—and that your story deserves to be held with care and curiosity.
