My Background and Approach
Melissa is compassionate with a deep commitment to helping individuals heal from emotional wounds & trauma. With a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Nelson University, Cert. Level 1 Practitioner of Transformational Schema Therapy. Melissa’s personal experience with loss, having been widowed, and healing informs her empathetic approach, particularly in her work with individuals and couples navigating grief, anxiety, and relationship challenges. In her practice, she provides a safe, supportive space for teens, adults, and couples, offering both professional & Christian counseling to those who seek it.
