About My Clients
Have you been feeling anxious lately? Is your relationship in a funk or you a bad breakup? Or have you experienced something terrible and having a hard time getting past it? I empower and heals adults with anxiety, relationship issues, and trauma through therapeutic means and Christianity. I will push you to become your most authentic self and will encourage you to live fearlessly. I want you to stop surviving but to thrive in life. Life is a journey and I want to help you through it.
My Background and Approach
I received my Master’s degree from Lindenwood University in Counseling. My career started on the crisis suicide hotline. I then worked with adolescents dealing with multiple traumas and eventually started working with adults with phobias and trauma. I use EMDR therapy to help with reprocessing the bad event and to lessen the symptoms associated with it. I also incorporate talk therapy and Christian counseling upon request. I believe in teamwork and working together to help you. I refuse to do all the work in this therapeutic relationship and expect you to come prepared to work every session. And I want this to be an enjoyable experience! Going to therapy is probably one of the most intimate things you can do for yourself. So enjoy the self-discovery and take back control of your life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Here’s my transparent moment: I am Black and I love my culture. I enjoy helping, educating, and working with minority groups and cultures. I refuse to work with racist, sexist, fascist, misogynistic people. I refuse to work with people who bash the LGBTQIA community or anybody that looks or acts differently than them. Politically, I lean to the Left if you don’t, I won’t judge you. I promise. I play PS4 and enjoy playing Madden. I played for the WFA D2 National Champion St. Louis Slam Women’s Tackle Football team (played LB). I love my STL Cardinals baseball team.
