About My Clients
I am a strength-based clinician, in which I believe clients are the true experts of their lives. I have experience working with teens and young adults who may be experiencing struggles related stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment to life transitions. My goal is to walk alongside you in your journey, as I believe everyone deserves a safe place in which they can be open about their experiences, past hurts, and dreams for the future.
My Background and Approach
I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Seattle Pacific University in 2011. I earned a Masters of Social Work from Arizona State University in 2014. My clinical experience is in child and adolescent development, child welfare, pediatric medical social work, and mental health. I have worked with children, adolescents, and families since 2014 in a variety of settings, including inpatient psychiatric care, medical settings, crisis and counseling services. I utilize evidenced based treatment, including components of cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness based stress reduction, and strength-based methods in my therapy interventions.
