About My Clients
If you're seeking a therapist who listens, empathizes, and provides practical techniques to reduce the distress you're weighted down by, we may be a good therapeutic fit. I work with individuals who are struggling with anxiousness, panic, and posttraumatic symptoms that are impacting their daily functioning and relationships. I also work with couples who are struggling with unhealthy communication styles and repetitive conflict in their relationship.
My Background and Approach
People want to feel genuinely heard and understood. They also want tangible tools to deal with life. I find that people do best when they develop an adequate coping toolbox with effective techniques for managing the stressors they face. My training as a psychologist has allowed me to draw from a wide range of clinical experiences and to build expertise that benefits individuals I work with. I use cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, and psychodynamic techniques to help people achieve change and cope with life. Individuals and couples I work with are able to reflect, learn and grow at the pace that they are ready for. I want to support you to become more empowered and resilient so that you can feel more in control of your life.
