I've always been aware of how different ethnic and other cultural groups are impacted by institutionalized systems. I love exploring with people how societal views impact their lives.

I bring a lot of myself into the therapy room, meaning that I'm authentic with who I am and sometimes will self-disclose some personal information with the intent of helping those that I work with that I can relate and understand in some way.

I believe that we have a sense of where we want to get to in life and I can help support you on that journey.

I am in the process of taking the PSI certification exam for Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorder (PMADs). This is a near and dear specialty for me and I love working with moms and their families.

I've completed an internship at San Diego Hospice and have been actively been working with grief/loss clients for years.

I love working with teens to help support them to be their best selves or support parents in dealing with this challenging age group.
