About My Clients
Are you struggling with family conflict, life transitions, or anxiety? I work with individuals and couples to explore their unique life shaping experiences and be their authentic selves. We work to develop effective communication skills to work through intergenerational conflicts and acculturation differences in order to build healthy relationships and improve family dynamics. I have had success working within the queer BIPOC community as well.
My Background and Approach
I utilize a collaborative approach and a systems perspective to gain a deeper understanding of my clients. I enjoy supporting clients in understanding their needs, establishing healthy boundaries, and exploring their diverse identities with special focus on multicultural and intergenerational issues, anxiety, stress, and life transitions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a child of immigrants and a part of a mixed ethnicity marriage, I know how influential cultural context is to our perspective and experience. I want to get to know you as the unique individual that you are. I understand how family conflict, acculturation differences, and diverse identities can create stress and anxiety. I want to work with you to explore your unique experience and create a deeper understanding of yourself and your community. Working from the framework of your lived experience, we will unfold the context you have lived through and develop strong skills to navigate your relationship with yourself, your family, and your community.
